Women's XC: Gators Win Chapin Home Meet #1

River Bluff's women's cross country team took the top four spots and ran away with Wednesday's meet at Crooked Creek Park in Chapin.

Savannah Davis won the race with a time of 19:20.76. Rounding out the second through fourth spots were Madelyn Cathey (19:46.05), Abby Tinsman (19:47.81), and Braelyn Davis (20:48.15). Taylor Denny (21:23.00) finished in eighth place.

After the meet, Head Coach Cameron Starr complimented his team, saying, "The girls took control of the race early, finished strong, and ran with a lot of confidence tonight. This was a great tune-up going into next week's Lake Murray Invitational."
