Women's XC: Gators Finish 8th at Eye Opener

River Bluff's women's cross country team finished in 8th place at Saturday's Eye Opener at Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg. This is the team's best finish ever in the International Race. The Gators were the third-best 5A-D1 school in the most competitive race of the day.

In her second-ever high school cross country meet, Savannah Davis ran 19:09.2, which is the 5th fastest time in school history, and earned 12th place overall.

Head Coach Cameron Starr was pleased with his team's performance, stating that each of his runners "gave a great effort."
