Women's Track and Field: Gators Finish Third at Lex-Co Championships

The River Bluff Women’s Track and Field team gave a strong showing at the Lexington County Championships on Wednesday, finishing third overall in a competitive field with 82.5 points.

Leading the way for the Gators were two record-breaking performances. Oprah Tcheuendem took first place in the high jump, and claimed a new school record. Oceanne Noubissi continued her success in the jumps as well, winning the triple jump and establishing a new school record of her own.

After the meet, Head Coach Cameron Starr noted, “This was a good final tune‐up before the Region Championship. We had several athletes really step up and we know what we need to improve on between now and next Wednesday.”

With momentum building and new records already on the board, the River Bluff girls head into next week's Region Championship ready for another strong performance.
