Women's Tennis: River Bluff Gets First-Round Bye, Plays as 2-Seed in Lower State Tourney

River Bluff's women's varsity tennis team earned the number two seed in the AAAAA-Division I Lower State tournament. The Gators earned a share of the Region 4-AAAAA title this season, dropping just one match. They enter the postseason with a 15-7 overall record and 9-1 in region play.

The Gators also earned a first-round bye and will host their second-round match on Thursday, October 28, against the winner of the Sumter (7)-Ashley Ridge (10) matchup. A win then for River Bluff will give them a third-round home match to play for a chance to compete for the Lower State Championship and a trip to the State Title match.
