Women's Soccer: Gators Take Down Chapin 1-0

River Bluff (7-1-2) could only manage one goal in Tuesday night's match against Chapin in The Swamp, but that was all the Gators needed, shutting out the Eagles to remain unbeaten in region play.

The Gator goal came with three minutes to go in the first half when Emerson Powell found the back of the net to put River Bluff in the lead to stay. Addison Slinkard picked up her eighth shutout on the season.

The win was River Bluff's fourth in a row and sits them at 3-0 in Region IV-AAAAA with games against Dutch Fork and Lexington remaining in the first half of the region swing.
