Women's Soccer: Gators Blank White Knoll 6-0 to Kickoff Region Play

For the second game in a row, the River Bluff's women's soccer team has shut out its opponent by a score of 6-0. Tuesday night, the Gators opened region play on the road at White Knoll and ran away with the match in dominant fashion.
Five of River Bluff's six goals came in the first half.
The Gators established the tone from the outset when Emerson Powell scored her first of two unassisted goals just three minutes into the action.
Anna Allen took a pass from Brooke Walter five minutes later and scored River Bluff's second goal. The onslaught was on.
Allen would ring true again, this time on an assist from Brooke Ogorek at the 19-minute mark.
Two minutes after that, Powell would find the back of the net for her second goal to put the Gators up 4-0.
With a minute to go in the half, Summer Rios would give River Bluff its fifth goal.
The final goal of the game would come with 18 minutes remaining in the match as Kyleigh Sago scored off a Mallory Marchant pass. Final score - River Bluff 6, White Knoll 0.
Gator Goalkeeper Addison Slinkard recorded her sixth shutout of the season and second in a row.
