Women's Lacrosse: Gators Surge Into Lower State Championship with 16-7 Win at Carolina Forest

River Bluff ousted Carolina Forest 16-7 Friday night in a second-round road playoff match to move on to the AAAAA-Division I Lower State Finals. This was the second playoff game in a row in which the Gators have put 16 points on the board. They have outscored their opponents in the postseason 32-13.

River Bluff hopes to continue this trend on Monday, May 4, as they play region foe and defending champs Lexington for the Lower State crown. The Gators will be looking for a little payback as well after falling to the Wildcats earlier in the season 15-5.

The Lower State Championship game will be at Lexington High School at 6 p.m.
