Women's Golf: Heaton Shoots Low Round as Gators Down Chapin, Lexington

River Bluff's Charlie Heaton shot the low round of the day with a 35 at Thursday's nine-hole match against Chapin and Lexington at Timberlake Country Club to help the Gators defeat the Eagles and Wildcats in women's golf.

River Bluff bested Lexington by eleven strokes and Chapin by 13.

Kelly Huang and Emery Jones finished tied for fourth with 39s. Merritt Wham finished in sixth (40), Grace Shelly came in 11th (42), and Kate LaRochelle shot a 46 to finish in 15th.

River Bluff will host the 19th Annual Smith Memorial at the Country Club of Newberry on Tuesday, October 7, at 10 AM.
