Women's Golf: Heaton Has Low Round Gators Chomp Chapin in Head-to-Head on Wednesday

Charli Heaton earned medalist honors with the low round of the day, shooting a 36, and River Bluff occupied the top four spots as the Gators handled Chapin by 20 strokes 153-173 in Wednesday's head-to-head match at Golden Hills.

Heaton was joined by fellow Gator golfers Minghe Huang (37), Merritt Wham (39), and Emery Jones (41) as the top four finishers. Grace Shelley finished tied for 8th, shooting a 45.

River Bluff celebrated its lone senior, Kate Larochelle, before Wednesday's match. Larochelle went on to finish in 10th with a 49.
