Women's and Men's Basketball: River Bluff Tips Off Regular Seasons With Showcase, Tourney

Winter sports season is upon us, and the River Bluff Gators men's and women's basketball teams are hitting the floors.

The women's varsity squad tips off first at the Impact Sports Showcase Invitational at Spartanburg Christian Academy this weekend. The Gators will open with the Chapman Panthers on Friday, November 21, at 7:30 p.m. Then, on Saturday, River Bluff will take on the Broome Centurions at 1:30 p.m.

The men's team will participate in the 2025 Tip Off at the Dam Tournament. Rounds one and two of the tourney take place at Chapin and Dutch Fork high schools on Monday and Tuesday, November 24-25. River Bluff will host the final round on Wednesday, November 26. The Gators will play in the Dutch Fork bracket and will start their tourney run with JL Mann on Monday at 6 p.m.
