Volleyball: River Bluff Earns 2-Seed in Lower State Bracket

River Bluff's varsity volleyball team swept through Region 4-AAAAA, accumulating a 10-0 record, and went 29-12 overall, earning the Gators a number two seed in the SCHSL AAAAA-Division I Lower State Playoffs.

The Gators will enjoy a first-round bye and will host the winner of the West Ashley-Stratford match being played on Wednesday, October 22.

With wins in the single-elimination tournament, River Bluff would host the third round match as well. A win there would send the Gators to the Lower State Championship, where odds are they would face the top-seeded Wando Warriors on the road.
