Volleyball Brings 4-2 Record into Home Opener Tonight

River Bluff will face Lugoff-Elgin tonight in the Chomp House for the volleyball program's first home appearance of the season.

The Gators are 4-2 after an impressive performance at the North/South Invitational Tournament last weekend in Rock Hill.

In that tourney, River Bluff opened with a 2-1 win over May River on Friday and followed that up with a 2-0 shutout of Legion Collegiate Academy later that night.

On Saturday, River Bluff started the day with two more victories - the first, a 2-1 takedown of Ardrey Kell, and the next, a 2-0 win over Oceanside Collegiate.

Although the Gators suffered their first loss, 2-1 to Cardinal Newman, they qualified for the tournament championship. In the championship, River Bluff fell to Marvin Ridge 2-0.
