Softball: Gators Outlast Mid-Carolina 2-1

River Bluff's softball team traveled to Mid-Carolina on Tuesday and came back with a close 2-1 win.

Mid-Carolina scored one run in the first, but never crossed the plate again. It wasn't until the fourth inning until River Bluff could tie the score with a run of their own. The Gators would follow that up with another in the fifth, and that would prove enough.

The win moves River Bluff to 4-3 on the season. The next game for the Gators is a rematch with the Rebels of Mid-Carolina, this time in the friendly confines of their own stadium on March 10.
