Men's XC: Gators Take 2nd at Lake Murray Invitational

River Bluff's men's cross country team took on a 31-team field on Saturday at the Lake Murray Invitational in Chapin and came out with an impressive second-place finish.
The Gators finished 27 points behind XC powerhouse Lexington and came in six points ahead of Chapin. Wilson Hall and Dutch Fork rounded out the top five. All but Wilson Hall are members of the highly competitive Region 4-AAAAA.
Daniel Campbell was the fastest Gator on Saturday, coming in 6th place overall. Paul Herron (14th) and Hudson Brown (15th) finished in the top 15 of the 276 racers. River Bluff's scoring was rounded out by Jack Dooley (29th) and Will Cohoon (36th). Also running for the Gators were Rowan Anders (43rd), Luke Jenkins (56th), and Bryan Cope (64th).
