Men's Wrestling: Vaporis Takes Fifth at Southern Slam

River Bluff finished 38th as a team out of 49 schools competing in the Southern Slam, one of the southeast's largest and most competitive high school wrestling tournaments. Top talent from multiple states competed in the individual format event, which took place December 5-7.

Peter Vaporis placed fifth in the tourney in the 126 weight class, going 4-2 over the weekend and earning River Bluff 18.5 points. Vaporis was the Gators' top finisher.
