Men's Golf: Gators Win Region Championship!

Overcoming a lightning delay and a slow start, River Bluff's men's golf team shot two-under on the final three holes to surge past Lexington and take the title in Tuesday's Region IV-AAAAA Championship at the Country Club of Lexington.

Howie Vroon was the only player that shot under par out of the thirty-player field on the tough set-up and was named Region MVP as he finished in first. Joining him on the All Region Team were River Bluff's Maddox McCamy (6th), Sam Booth (6th), and Isaiah Bayon (9th).

The team will play the final round of the Lake Murray Cup on Wednesday, April 29, at the Country Club of Lexington. All competing teams come into the final round even.

Then, on Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, the Gators will compete in the prestigious Southern Cross at the Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken.
