Men's Golf: Gators Finish Second in Lower State Qualifier

River Bluff qualified for the SCHSL AAAAA-Division I Boys Golf State Championship with a second-place finish at the Lower State Qualifier on Monday at Charleston Municipal. The Gators finished five stokes behind winners James Island and thirteen ahead of third-place Wando.
Sam Booth led the Gators with a 1-under 71. Howie Vroon shot an even 72. Maddox McCamy was the third Gator to finish in the top ten with a three-over 75. Cooper Raley (84) and Isaiah Bayon (87) finished out the scoring for River Bluff.
The AAAAA-Division I State Championship will be held at Shaftesbury Glen Golf & Fish Club in Conway on May 11-12.
