Men's Basketball: River Bluff Falls to Lugoff-Elgin 54-32

A mere two points was the scoring difference between the River Bluff Gators and the visiting Lugoff-Elgin Demons during the second and third quarters on Friday night, with the Demons outscoring the Gators 24-22.

Unfortunately for River Bluff, a complete game consists of four quarters.

The Demons tripled the Gators' offensive output in the two bookend periods, 30-10, resulting in a 54-32 loss for River Bluff.

JT Brodowski scored nine points, and Alex Kirylo snagged five rebounds to lead the Gators.

JT Williams led Lugoff-Elgin with 10 points and seven rebounds.

The Gators' men's team will cap off a five-game match-up at home on Tuesday between River Bluff and Indian Land. The main gym will feature the women's JV team at 5 p.m., the women's varsity team at 6:15 p.m., and the men's varsity team around 7:30 p.m. The men's B-team will jump at 5 p.m. in the auxiliary gym, followed by the men's JV squad.
