Men's Basketball: Gators Fall to Wando 51-41 in Final Round of Tip Off at the Dam

The 2025 Tip Off at the Dam basketball tournament wrapped up on Wednesday, with all final round games being held at River Bluff. River Bluff dropped its first two games of the tourney in the Dutch Fork bracket to JL Mann and Lugoff-Elgin. That put the Gators in the seventh-place game against the Wando Warriors, who came out of the Chapin bracket at 0-2.

In that contest, River Bluff held a two-point lead at halftime, but could only manage seven points in the second half and fell to Wando 44-32.

In the Championship game, Dutch Fork handled Chapin 81-52. JL Mann grabbed third place with a 72-61 win over Spring Valley. Lugoff-Elgin sneaked by White Knoll 50-48 to earn fifth.

River Bluff will host Brookland-Cayce on December 2.
