Men's and Women's Basketball: Region Starts Tonight with 5 Games at White Knoll

River Bluff's men's and women's basketball programs will start their region runs tonight at White Knoll. Not only will this be the first Region IV-AAAAA contest for the Gators, but it will also be the first region matchup of the season to feature all five teams using two gyms in one location.

This format will occur for each region outing that features two Lexington District One schools. So, each time River Bluff and Lexington and White Knoll play each other this season in basketball, all five games will be held in one location. Those games will also occur on a home-and-home basis, where each school will host all five games between LexOne opponents once.

Tonight's games will be held at White Knoll. The next time the two schools meet, those games will be at River Bluff. The same holds true for River Bluff vs Lexington and White Knoll versus Lexington.

Tonight's first games tipoff at 5 p.m. and will feature the women's JV teams and the men's B-teams.
