Gator Volleyball Starts Region 2-0, Big Matches This Week

River Bluff's varsity volleyball team started region play last week with two dominating victories.

On Tuesday, the Gators made quick work of White Knoll 3-0. Freshman Karis Kettering had ten kills and eight aces to lead the Gators. Senior Alexis Jodie added 18 assists to the winning effort.

River Bluff also blanked Irmo 3-0 on Thursday to improve to 2-0 in region play and 12-7 overall. Senior Caroline Tucker led the way with 16 kills, and Alexis Jodie had 22 assists for the Gators.

The Gators play at Chapin on Tuesday of this week in a huge region matchup. They will then travel to Dutch Fork on Thursday.
