Baseball: Gators Start Postseason on Monday at Home vs Wando

River Bluff's baseball team enters the AAAAA-Division I postseason as a seven seed and will host the tenth-seeded Wando Warriors on Monday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m. The Gators are competing in the District 4 bracket of the AAAAA-Division I Lower State playoffs.

The AAAAA-Division I playoffs are broken into four districts, two in the Upper State and two in the Lower State. The first round features a best-of-three series with a loser-goes-home format. The remaining rounds are double-elimination.

River Bluff and Wando will play at Wando for game two on Tuesday, May 5. If a third game is necessary, it will be played at River Bluff on Thursday, May 7. The winner of this first series will move on to play the number two seed Carolina Forest.
